Cool. That's a great talk. A solid takedown of the artist as God, and a proper rebuilding of the artist as one who reflects inspired beauty. And it applies, of course, to creative endeavors all over the place: from the arts to engineering to creatively relating with one another. The Triune God is the creative force in the universe and it is our joy and blessing to be made in His image. Thanks for posting that, yo.

I was also very interested in the juxtaposition that she presents between what we might call the "christian west" ignoring the divine influence in the arts, and the "heathen" world's recognition of it. Clearly we don't have everything figured out.
